At Britzer Damm in Neukölln, a modern urban quarter is being developed on the former RIAS site, in close proximity to Britzer Schlosspark, harmoniously combining residential, work, and green retreat spaces. The development area is planned with residential and commercial uses in the north, residential in the south, and green spaces in the west and southwest. Existing green areas will be preserved and integrated as natural recreational spaces within the emerging quarter.
In the residential area, many rent-controlled and barrier-free apartments will be built. The adjacent commercial spaces will allow existing local businesses to expand and provide opportunities for new businesses.
