• Bergische Universität Wuppertal occupies leased space
• Mixed-use concept for Rathaus Galerie: retail, education, healthcare, leisure, dining
• Completion of conversion into a multifunctional building planned for mid-2027

Wuppertal, August 1, 2025 – Bergische Universität has now fully completed the move into the space it leased at Rathaus Galerie in Wuppertal Elberfeld after several relocation phases. The former shopping center, comprising around 22,000 m², is being modernized and further converted into a multifunctional building complex by the Livos-Gruppe as owner and operator of the property.

Several measures are currently underway, including fit-outs for new tenant spaces and upgrades to building systems. The roof will be greened by fall 2025 and equipped with seating areas and a small playground.

The Livos-Gruppe is holding further discussions with prospective tenants regarding the lease of the remaining available space. The goal is a diverse mix of uses, including education, retail, healthcare services, dining, leisure, and cultural offerings.

The Livos-Gruppe actively supported Bergische Universität during the relocation and move-in phases by providing space, technical equipment, and common areas for students.
